This is a little belated, but I went to the Thunder vs. Warriors game this weekend and wanted to throw out some of my observations from the game. Here they are in no particular order: 1- Monta Ellis cannot be a 1. Rumor has it that Monta Ellis was peeved when the Warriors drafted Stephen Curry [...] Last night I ventured over to Arco Arena in Sacramento and watched the Kings play the Spurs. The Spurs won 115-113. Here are a couple of my general observations from the game: 1. Tyreke Evans is the real deal. 32 points, 7 rebounds, 8 assists, 2 steals, 1 block. Those are pretty darn good numbers for [...] Earlier this weekend there was a a little tiff between Kentucky’s star point guard John Wall and coach John “Raise the Final Four Banner then Pull it Back Down” Calipari. After Kentucky’s upset loss to South Carolina, where Wall played poorly (13 points, 9 assists, 7 turnovers), Calipari criticized Wall, but said that he didn’t [...] In case you have been living in a cave or something, FYI, the Cavs beat the Lakers last night in Cleveland 93-87. The Cavs also beat the Lakers on Christmas in L.A. So now the Cavs are a half game behind the Lakers for the best record in the NBA, which begs the question: are [...] This week’s Idiotic Fans of the Week Award goes to a very worthy recipient: NBA All Star Voters. The starters for the NBA All Star Game are selected entirely through online voting by the fans. As the voting currently stands the NBA’s brilliant online voters have selected some very questionable starters. In the West, Tracy [...] Last night was interesting in the NBA in case you missed it.
