The last few days have seen a number of big moves in NFL free agency involving a star RB, a QB trade, and a former Super Bowl QB finding a new home. Although there are only a small number of unrestricted free agents on the market because of the uncapped year in the NFL making a number of unrestricted free agents into restricted free agents. This may mean a lot of trades will be upcoming and [...] The Jets announced today that they will cut running back Thomas Jones on March 5. Jones was due a little over $5 million this season and apparently the Jets think that price tag is too much for an RB that had 331 carries and rushed for 1,402 yards and 14 TDs last season. I think this [...] In case you have not been paying attention to the mainstream media stretching to make a story out of basically anything during Super Bowl week, Jets coach Rex Ryan attended a MMA fight where former NFL star Herschel Walker was making his fighting debut while he was in South Florida attending the Pro Bowl. In particular Braylon stated that the Jets “didn’t have the same attitude” in the second half of their game against the Colts. After going 2-2 in the Divisional round, the Neighborhood was undefeated in Championship weekend picks.
