The last few days have seen a number of big moves in NFL free agency involving a star RB, a QB trade, and a former Super Bowl QB finding a new home. Derrick Mason resigned with the Ravens, giving Baltimore a solid receiving corps after bringing in Dante Stallworth and Anquan Boldin in the offseason. Stallworth [...] The first day of free agency yesterday resulted in a flurry of activity, including blockbuster trades, crazy rumors, and giant contracts. Let’s break it down: -The biggest name in the free agent class, Julius Peppers, signed with the Bears for $91.5 million dollars over 6 years, with $42 million guaranteed. Good lord that’s a lot of [...] Good morning everyone– here’s whats up on the free agent market this morning: -Top cornerback on the market Dunta Robinson, formerly of the Texans, is reportedly meeting with the Atlanta Falcons today. According to ESPN’s Adam Schefter this deal is likely going to get done, probably for about 5 years. The Falcons need to upgrade their [...] Today is an exciting day in the NFL, where the NFL draft order was finally determined by…a series of coin flips. The Jaguars edged out the Broncos for the 10th pick with a bold call of “tails never fails,” the Titans prevailed over the 49ers for the 16th pick, and the Falcons crushed the the [...] It doesn’t take long into the offseason for NFL rumors to heat up. According to ESPN’s Adam Schefter, the Eagles have already received calls from at least 3 teams– the Broncos, Browns, and Bills–asking about the availability of Donovan McNabb. The Eagles currently have an abundance of quarterbacks with McNabb, Kevin Kolb, and Michael Vick [...] During last night’s Pro Bowl, a decent number of rumors and issues came up, either through the announcers, players, or ESPN analysts.
