For all the controversy over Tim Tebow’s ad that would allegedly portray a pro-life message, the ad itself was pretty weak. The speculation was that the ad would focus around Pam Tebow’s pregnancy, where she was supposedly advised by doctors to abort the fetus currently known as Tim because of the risk of complications with her pregnancy. People were worried that the ad would be polarizing with it’s pro life message and could potentially harm Tebow’s draft stock by making him seem to controversial and outspoken. (Personally I say let the guy air his beliefs, its his choice)
As for the actual ad itself, not really very polarizing or edgy. As you can see below the ad doesn’t mention the touchy issue…and may only be controversial in that it looks like an E-Harmony commercial involving a parent and child or an ad for Cougarlife.com. I wonder what Freud would have to say:
